This was truly a Jason Bourne meets Mission Impossible meets Avengers.

The plot was great, the characters were great, the action was great. At times, it was genius. Like Kirk’s prison. The organisations, the “who’s the mole”…

A thrilling and fast read, because even if I don’t like Tom Cruise, I bloody love Jason Bourne and Avengers (apart from Captain America, sorry).

I was happily reading away, so utterly in the whole thing that the twist near the end came as a shock. Unfortunately the twist didn’t work for me at all. I was pissed off, pfff! I couldn’t believe that *spoiler*… I mean, sure, it was a good twist and all, but it knocked me off the track and I got so distracted by my disappointment that I spent the last 50 pages of the book just flipping through it, catching snippets of sentences just to see how the book ends.

“It’s not you, it’s me” and I am sure, I know, a lot of people enjoyed this read and will enjoy this read. I enjoyed it as well, but I let the twist mess with me! So, maybe it deserves more than 3*** because it made me go: “What the…? Ah, NOOOOO!”

I don’t know why I’m such a fusspot, but I gave it 3***

FYI- it would definitely be a good movie.
