My rating: 5 of 5 stars

These 2 short stories with a poem in the middle were a fantastic mix of darkness and light. Past and future. What is and what could be…
After reading Marian’s debut novel “The Empire’s Daughter” I had no doubt that I was going to be presented with quality writing and some unique ideas- I wasn’t wrong.

The first story, “The Spider’s Spinning” followed an architect on his house search and my, what a house he found. Definitely a story of something sinister, or perhaps just with undertones of “Earthy”. Marian’s writing will put the reader into the architects body. You will become the architect and you might just get caught in the spider’s web.

The poem, titled “Angels Unaware” takes you from the darkness into light and sets a lighter mood for the final story in this collection- “In an Absent Dream”.
This short story dissects and unravels a mystery- was it a dream or did it happen? How do we find out?

So, go grab a cuppa, get comfy and dive into this collection- it will for sure take you on a very imaginative journey through bones and angel wings, through Heaven and Hell, through dreams and realities.

The collection will be published on March 25th but you can now pre-order on Amazon UK and on Amazon USA
