Happy New Year!
In 2022, I discovered this rad bookish tag (creator of the original tag, give me a shout if you recognize it, you shall be properly credited) and it was a ton of fun.
This time around, Timy from Queen’s Book Asylum thought, hey let’s funk the tag up a bit and a little while later, the tag got jazzed, some new prompts added and below is the result…
Using only books you have read this year (2023), answer these prompts. Try not to repeat a book title.

Great answers, Liis! I need to check out McDonald’s Traitor of Redwinter (and the first book). How does it compare to his Raven’s Mark trilogy? π

Thanking you! π Well… the 2 Redwinter books have not disappointed, that’s for sure, however the tone is more YA? As in, the characters are young adults themselves and thus the tone, or their relationship dynamics are more (I hate to say it) inexperienced as well. There are bad things happening in Redwinter books, and the world building in whooosh, mind blowing (as you can expect) but Raven’s Mark does the anguish and grimness and Galharrows emotional turmoil SO well. If not on par, I would personally place The Raven’s Mark just above the Redwinter books… but even at that, just a tad π

Over the the last year I have added four of these books to my TBR because of your reviews, and the first Redwinter book. π
4.4 stars sounds wonderful. My rating average was 3.3, ha ha! π
Happy New Year, and keep writing your well thought out and entertaining reviews. π
