Sometimes the smallest achievement can make a day good…
(Uh, I love Snickers… and I don’t really want to say how many bars I’ve had over the past 2 weeks!)
Back to the lovely html… I have said this before and I will say it again- I wish I would have picked up all this coding stuff a long time ago. I know, I know, Just because I have an inkling about html and css and just a tiny tad of JavaScript it doesn’t mean I am anywhere near to being fluent in “languages” but I still feel so great when I don’t give up and find the little piece of character that is messing up the code which is messing up the look on the website.
Not 5 minutes ago I was wrestling with code in Joomla and darn it, I was so ready to give up. I just couldn’t see what I was doing wrong. Then I reminded myself that normally it’s a tiny little symbol or character that is out of place, or missing, and even though I had looked at the code for 20 minutes I just couldn’t find it. I started to see stars in my eyes as I had stared at the <‘s and ;’s and href’s and =’s for so long… And then I did… The lack of ” in one place had messed it all up for me!
Moral of the story: if you don’t succeed and are ready to give up- don’t! The solution might be just there, ready to present itself!
And, oh… Learn to code! It’s fun! π
Who would have guessed that you will be a computer nerd π (NOT a negative comment) and you love it too. I also hate when I miss a really tiny detail and know that it has to be there somewhere….like when I am knitting or crocheting a pattern and i mess up π π π but this moral of the story goes to anything in life actually.

ah, don’t even start with the knitting… π I know exactly what you mean… especially when you discover the little mistake like half a sock later! π haha…
but indeed… the moral of the story does go for everything and I’m glad you you noticed it π
